MST Holland designs and implements drain water disinfection and recovery systems to ensure sustainable and efficient water use in modern greenhouse projects.

Although greenhouse drain water contains significant amounts of water and nutrients, it may also contain harmful microorganisms, making direct reuse unsafe. Therefore, advanced filtration and disinfection technologies are applied to safely recover and reuse the water.

The NUF and UV systems installed by MST Holland purify drain water and return it to the irrigation system. These systems operate together with hydrogen peroxide support to neutralize bacteria, viruses, and pathogens present in the water. Harmful organisms are broken down into harmless components such as water and carbon dioxide, while the chemical structure of the water remains unchanged.

As a result, drain water can be safely recirculated within the system or discharged without harming the environment when necessary.

The system includes NUF (Nano Ultrafiltration) filtration technology and Aqualux UV disinfection solutions.
